Goals For July Update!

Hello fellow bloggers,

Today I'm going to share my update on my goals for July and how I have done. Let's get started!

My goals were –

  1. Read more books – let's forget this one. I have completely slacked on reading and I am not proud of that. I will definitely try to get some Summer reading done.
  2. Blog 2-3 times a week – nope. Again this one I struggled with as I have been very busy with school. However it's no excuse in August because I have no school!! 😁
  3. Organise myself – I have actually done this one. I have planned out what I will blog on each day; today I am going to write up some posts; I've got a agenda to write in and I've started getting stuff for the new school year.

Overall, I have generally slacked massively this year. But I understand why. I have had exams, school, social events and a very hectic July ; I'm looking forward to August as I can relax and pay a bit more attention to my blog and myself.

How to prepare for a plane journey ✈️

Hello guys,

Never would I think I'd say this but I'm on a plane! Yes, right now!

I am going to Spain for a week. It should be fun and I am very excited…

But it was a lot of preparation to get here and I didn't know about it until yesterday! So, as you can see I was very shocked and my packing was very last minute.

I'm going to share some of my top tips on how to prepare for a plane journey –

1. What to pack

Well, it really depends on where you are going and how long you are going for. I am going to Spain for a week, so I know it will be hot there ( 27 degrees at the moment! ) and I'm going to go swimming and do things. So I packed –

  • Enough pants, socks and bras to last me for the week ( and extras! )
  • An outfit for each day
  • 2 spare shorts/leggings
  • 2 dressy outfits ( for parties or going out )
  • 4/5 spare tops
  • My swimming costume
  • Toiletries- toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, deodorant, cream, perfume, body sprays
  • 2/3 towels

For the plane journey –

  • tablets/devices
  • phone
  • A book
  • Headphones

2. Snacks are your best friends

When your rushing from home to the airport to the plane. Then the plane journey ( 3 and a half hours for me ). After going to the airport and to your hotel. You are going to be hungry! So take snacks in your bags and pockets : I recommend-

  • Granola bars
  • Dried fruit/nuts
  • Pretzels for a savory alternative
  • Chocolate ( good to keep your sugar up! )

3. Make sure you have something to do on the plane

Trust me. The last thing you want is to be stuck on a plane with nothing to do. Bring a book to read; some games or cards to play; a phone or tablet and most definitely headphones! They are your best friends on plane journeys.

Those are my top 3 tips for surviving a plane journey!

Give yourself a break!

Life Is As Easy As...


I find it so so so hard to switch off and give myself a break! I am one of those people whose mind goes 100 miles an hour and I can’t stop thinking none stop like LITERALLY… I can’t just think one thing at a time… My brain is like multitasking all throughout the day! Multitasking is meant to be good but it would be 100 times better if I could just read a book/watch tv or just concentrate on one task without having to think about 1 million things I need to do, what I’m having for breakfast or where my books are… I mean… BRAIN YOU NEED TO CHILLAX…

I was actually going to do another post but then I thought that I’d do this as lots of people are going through mock exams and revision and it’s really stressful…. or if your just having a stressful…

What is your favourite blog post that you have written so far?

  • That’s a tough one! Probably my Shopping Spree Frinds post, as I loved doing that post because it was fun but hardwork!

If you could only do one type/category of post for the rest of your blogging life what would it be?

  •  Definitely Lifestyle posts because I feel that my blog is based around those sorts of posts, and I really enjoy writing them! 😉

 How does blogging make you feel?

  • Blogging makes my feel two things… It makes me feel happy and safe, because I’ve got somewhere and something to express myself through – my writing. But, it also makes me feel worried and stressed because it’s a lot of work being a blogger and having to keep up with everything… so it’s a mix!

I do love my blog though *winks*
What is your favorite blog posts to read? 

  • I like reading different posts but I’m not into beauty posts that much, depends what it is… everyone has different tastes and I tend to like more food and lifestyle posts. I am trying to mix it up and trying to get some beauty posts on my blog!

Where do you expect blogging to take you? (future of your blog) 

  • I honestly do not know! I would like to think that 5 years on I will still be blogging and writing but it depends!

  • I love Zoella! I have read her blog for a long time, but I also like Poppy Deyes… she is a very cool and creative blogger who I recently started reading her posts and I fell in love with them! ❤️❤️

Where do you see yourself in 5 years? 

  • I know by then I’ll be going to University I think? Probably still carrying on with this blog, and doing what I love! 

What’s your favourite hobby? 

  • Well, blogging, of course! I also love reading and I am a huge fan of books! 

Is there anything you regret doing/not doing in your life?

  • I don’t regret creating my blog as it is one of the best things that have ever happened to me. I regret quite a few things that I’ve done in life, not seizing the moment and taking the best opportunity!

If you see a celebrity, what would you ask them? 

  • I’m not really sure, I think probably I’d ask them how I could be like them as I would love to meet one of my celebrity idols…

  • I have had a blog before but it was on an app and I thought ” why not give it a go on WordPress? “… It was something different to challenge myself and my writing skills! And 5 months on I do not regret making that decision one bit!

What’s the best thing about blogging?

  • I think it’s the community! Whenever I see someone has left a comment or I leave a comment on someone else’s blog it feels like we are all achieving something by trying to become a stronger community!

  •  I got the name because I thought it was a cool and catchy name… I also liked the fact that I was always saying to myself ( before I started this blog ) what if life was as easy as? ….

  • I trust my best friend… I have known her for two years and she is the most kind and supportive friend you could ever wish for. Also, I know for sure that I can trust her with anything!

Goals for July!


Today I’m going to share my goals for July!

1. Read more books!

Knowing that Summer is just round the corner and I won’t have school for 7 weeks is not an excuse for me to slack on my reading! I managed to read 1 book in June and my target for July is to read 2-3 books! I might do a weekly post about what book I’m reading and what books I want to read, maybe?

2. Try to blog regularly…

I am going to try and blog at least 2-3 times a week ; at the moment, I find that it has an impact on my numbers on my blog! So I’m going to blog 2-3 times a week and then build my way up to blogging every day!

3. Organise myself

As it is one of my New Years resolutions I think I am definitely going to put this one in there! I want to use lists to plan my blog posts and try to think about what I need to do every day. It will also help me with my diet and making shopping lists!

1. Who is your best friend?

To be honest the last couple of weeks have been really messed up for me in terms of friendship and I have got to know who my best friends are. I have one girl who is very close to me as we live 5 minutes away and she is my best friend and I love her to bits!!!
2. Heels or flats?

Flats are more comfortable and you can get some chic flats but heels are ok for parties. Personally I prefer flats!
3. When was the last time you laughed so hard you cried?

I don’t remember – I never cry when I laugh! 😂
4. What genre of music do you like?

I like pop music. My favourite band are Little Mix! I would love to go and see them in concert one day!
5. What is your favorite cookie flavor?

I am in love with cookies and cookie dough! My favourite flavor is definitely raspberry and white chocolate but I do like plain chocolate chip as well!

It’s Wednesday ( Hump Day! )


Happy Hump Day everybody! I hope everyone’s having a lovely day with friends and family. I hope the weather is on your side and it’s not raining! It’s quite warm here – 18 degrees but not as hot as we have been getting.

So it’s afternoon here and I’m currently trying to tackle two projects that I have to do in 2 weeks time!

Today I’ve ate –

Breakfast – Two slices of toast with butter and a smoothie

Snack – crisps

Lunch – A really nice salad and 2 glasses of squash

For dinner I think we may be going out for a meal with friends that I haven’t saw in a long time, I’m really excited to see them! I’ll do my projects for the afternoon and maybe watch a bit of TV.


What we’re eating this week – I’m not sure at all, but I’ve told you what I’ve ate today and what I’m going to eat later.

What I’m reminiscing about – My holidays so far and the fact that another month has gone by and tommorow it’s officially summer!

What I’m loving – My smoothies and the amazing salad I had for lunch just now. Also, Snapchat.

What I’ve been up to – Nothing much. I woke up at 8am then I had my breakfast and went out to town for about half an hour to do some banking and visit my place of worship. Then I came home, played football and started doing preparation for my siblings birthday! Then I had my lunch and now I’m blogging and doing projects for school.

What I’m dreading – going back to school and struggling for the same anxiety and pressure for 7 weeks, also I have loads of exams coming up – I’m particularly worried about my maths one.

What I’m working on – my school projects, some artwork and a dance.

What I’m excited about – My siblings birthday and going out tonight!

What I’m watching/ reading – Watching Britains Got Talent and The Next Step. Reading people’s blogs counts right? Apart from that nothing because I have nothing to read! I need to go to the library and get some new books.

What I’m listening to – Radio 1 when I’m with my dad because that is the radio station he plays and Capital FM with my mom. Apart from that it’s just Despacito by Justin Bieber and Power by Little Mix ft. Stormzy

What I’m wearing – A grey and white checked shirt and black leggings with trainer socks – nothing fancy as I’m just at home on the sofa.

What I’m doing this weekend – celebrating my siblings birthday!

What I’m looking forward to next month – * checks calendar * going to the cinema as a reward for something in school! I forgot about that!

What else is new – I bruised my leg all down the side yesterday but that’s another story!
